Virtual Fitting Room
We developed a virtual fitting room for our partner from the eyewear industry. It allows users to select from a broad range of frames and match them to the shape of their face. This means that it is possible to try on dozens of models without the need to visit the store.
The application is based on augmented reality technology and operates in the so-called real time. The camera detects user’s face and the application places the eyewear on it. The user can change models and colors of the frames while seeing his reflection on the screen. Moreover, the application offers the user a 360 degree view of him/herself in the selected frames.
Users who like to ask others’ opinions may share a photo or a movie-clip showing them in the new eyewear on Facebook. They can also download the image or video and send it to a chosen e-mail address.
