KOMISARZ ALEX

We worked on the opening credits of the Polish version of a popular series Inspector Rex. Lemon&Orange came up with and implemented a concept based on the motif of scent tracing which matches the esthetics of the crime series.

Our idea for the project was based on the way the title character experiences the world and people around him – apart from great sight and hearing the police dog has an incredibly acute sense of smell. Inspired by excellent opening credits to movies about agent 007, we decided to combine the characteristic Bond-like style with the motif of appearing and disappearing scents, symbolized in the outlines of figures and objects.

We also developed and executed special effects in the police drama.

First episodes were broadcast by the Telewizja Polska station in March 2012.
