IBM – APP
For the 2013 IBM Business Connect 2013 in September Lemon&Orange prepared a web application based on augmented reality technology.
Every guest received a paper invitation by mail in the form of an augmented reality marker. When the marker was placed in front of a computer camera , the CEO of the Polish branch of IBM – Mr. Ales Bartunek – appeared on the screen and invited the guests to this special event. During his speech, he was surrounded by 3D icons symbolizing the themes of this year’s meeting. The user of this application was able to change the location of the marker in relation to the camera, triggering a 3D effect of the objects on the screen.
This interactive invitation was implemented using a green screen studio and dedicated web application with an engine generating objects in real time.
